\"\"Hi there! My name is Lex and I am so proud to welcome you to the first, small online space for Happy Bear Yoga.<\/p>

Just over 12 months ago, my partner, Nick, and I were sat in a cafe discussing our future. I was waiting for the outcome of a job interview down in Bath - a beautiful part of the country, but as a northern girl through and through, a long way from home. I had gone for the job because it was a good job and Nick and I had agreed that we wanted to move closer to his family in the South West. However, Nick was pressing me to find out if I really wanted the job.<\/p>

No, to be honest I didn't.<\/p>

So we were sat having a coffee and having the BIG chat. What are our dreams in life?<\/p>

Well, NIck's dream was to live on a boat in the Mediterranean - whose isn't right?! My dream was to be a yoga teacher. And so Happy Bear was born. The goal is a yoga retreat on a boat in the Mediterranean (Brexit allowing). A space where we could be outdoors most of the time, where we could give people time and space to breath deeply and take some time out for themselves. A kind, happy world in a small idyll that we want to create.<\/p>

Ever since that day we have been working towards that dream. And week by week we are getting closer. I have nearly finished my yoga teacher training, and I have picked up a nutrition qualification along the way. My first practice classes start this week - I am very nervous! And my first set of basic equipment has arrived, as environmentally friendly as I can afford.<\/p>

So this is an exciting time! I will update on here as regularly as I can. Do follow our journey and I look forward to welcoming you on to the boat from Summer 2021 (fingers crossed!!!).<\/p>
